Participate in the first Mobilization and support walk for victims of sexual abuse
During the National Victims of Crime Awareness Week (NVCAW) and in cooperation with several organizations working with victims of sexual assaults, CRIPHASE is setting up the first Mobilization and support walk for victims of sexual abuse  which will be held on April 19, 2008.

The objectives of this walk are:
  • to break the silence around sexual abuse;
  • to stop treating sexual abuse as taboo;
  • to show silent victims that they are not alone;
  • to promote the services offered to victims of sexual abuse ;
  • to increase public awareness about the astounding amount of victims of sexual abuse (one woman out of three and one man out of six, according to several studies) ;
  • to recognize the traumas and aftermaths suffered by victims of sexual abuse;
  • to offer support and comfort to survivors of sexual abuse;
  • to deliver the message to thousands of thousands of silent victims that they can heal, that there are services for them and that they can use them without feeling shameful. ;
The NVCAW’s theme being “Together, let’s find the way”, CRIPHASE invites:
  • all men, women, children who have been victims of sexual abuse or sexual assaults during their lives;
  • their family and friends;
  • all organizations and all professionals either working closely with or just remotely involved with the well-being of victims of sexual abuse; and
  • the general public, men , women, children, elder people,
to express their support to victims of sexual abuse, to help them "find the way” " to the re-establishment of their well-being by walking all together with respect, support and love.
